Conquering Inner Discipline with True Core

Do you ever get stuck in a cycle of wanting to improve your fitness and eating habits but struggling to find the discipline to make any significant changes? If so, you are not alone. For many people, including Sue Knight, this struggle manifests as a failure to prioritize important aspects of self-care, such as fitness and healthy eating habits. It's an all-too-familiar cycle: the desire to make positive changes is present, but getting it done appears elusive.

As someone who has grappled with this issue firsthand, Sue understands the frustration and self-doubt that come with it when she tries to do it on her own. The desire to live a healthier fitness lifestyle competes with the allure of instant gratification and the comfort of old routines. Despite knowing the benefits of regular exercise and a healthy diet, taking consistent action can be daunting. Sue becomes unhappy and dissatisfied with herself, her confidence erodes, and she feels lethargic and overwhelmed.

Sue began her journey with True Core with their transformation program, which greatly aided her in becoming more aware of various physical issues. Sue has spent at least one to two days meeting with Maddie on a consistent basis. She likes the concept of habituation because it feels alive and well; even though she isn't very consistent yet, it was a good start for Sue and made her more aware. She is more conscious of drinking water, eating more fulfilling and nourishing foods, and engaging in daily exercise and movement.

Sue's mental space has also changed significantly as a result of her time at True Core. She is more gentle with herself than she used to be, and she cares about herself beyond her physical appearance. The idea of showing up for yourself is far superior to doing nothing. Sue is very pleased with the benefits of True Core's program, which affirms that even when life is unmanageable, there are teams of people in True Core who can support and encourage you, making it more bearable.

Sue may not have achieved her goals yet, but she is motivated to work her way back up to where she wants to be. She believes that overcoming the challenge of discipline demands a willingness to embrace change and a commitment to ourselves to prioritize our health and well-being. It won't always be easy, and there will undoubtedly be challenges along the way, but with perseverance and determination, it is possible to break free from the cycle of inaction and create lasting habits that support a healthier, happier life.
