Kathleen Lynch: The Power of Having a Community in Achieving Fitness Goals

Starting a fitness journey can be difficult, and there will be days when motivation is unmet. A supportive community provides the driving force to get through difficult times. The combination of shared motivation, accountability, knowledge, and emotional support fosters an environment in which everyone can thrive. This is what Kathleen Lynch experienced after discovering True Core.

Kathleen struggled with a lack of access, support, and accountability to get back into lifting prior to her journey with True Core's transformation program. She felt lost and was not thriving in her fitness or pushing herself to the level she desired. She became frustrated when she attempted to figure it out on her own. Although Kathleen is adjusting to the initial impact of the moves, she finds a gym that can hold her accountable: True Core's transformation program. She felt she would thrive more in a group fitness setting.

So, when Kathleen started her True Core journey, she began lifting weights two to three times per week, which she would not have done on her own. Despite having the knowledge and resources to do so, she knew she wouldn't do it on a consistent basis. Kathleen noticed that her clothes fit better and she could do more deadlifts. Furthermore, since beginning her True Core journey, Kathleen has become more in tune with herself, her inner fire, and feels more powerful.  Furthermore, since beginning her True Core journey, Kathleen has become more in tune with herself, her inner fire, and feels more powerful. Her mindset has greatly improved, and she looks forward to going to the gym every week, taking pride in lifting heavy weights. Kathleen also feels more energized, which has a positive impact on the rest of her life. She feels more at ease in general, living more authentically and honoring that side of herself, and having an alignment between her inner and outer selves.

Surrounding yourself with like-minded people who are also working towards fitness goals can be extremely motivating. Hence,for those who are uncertain to begin their fitness journey, Kathleen stated that having an inspiring and positive community, particularly the one she has created with True Core, is the most important factor in making a change. All aspects of diversity are inclusive and welcoming; everyone is there to help each other and push themselves in a healthy and non-competitive manner.
